Young cricketer dies after hit by a ball
Srinagar, Nov 23: A 23 year-old Cricketer died on the spot after he was hit by cricket ball while playing in Narbal area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
A senior police official said that around 2:30 pm one person identified as Firdous Ahmad Dar resident of Syed pora Narbal while playing cricket was hit by a cricket ball on his chest. He said that the youth fainted and fell down and died on the spot.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up, the officer added.(GNS)
