Gunfight breaks in Kulgam Village in south Kashmir
Srinagar, July 27: An encounter broke out between terroristss and government forces in Brayihard Kathpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday morning.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Brayihard Kathpora.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about the exchange of fire and said that the operation is going on in the area.
