SAJY-2022: DC Anantnag inspects arrangements at Nunwan Base Camp
ANANTNAG: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla Monday visited Nunwan base camp to take stock of the arrangements put in place for Shri Amartnath Ji Yatra (SAJY 2022).
On the occasion, the DC inspected the status of erection of tents, toilet facilities, langar facility, setting up of shops inside the base camp and sanitation measures inside the camp.
Dr Singla accompanied by the Camp Director examined the shift wise deployment of sanitation staff. He emphasized that round the clock cleanliness of the camp must be ensured. He was apprised that the toilets are up and running and water connections have been installed wherever necessary. RO dispensers have also been installed at the site.
While taking review of installation of RFID scanners, the DC was informed that RFID cards have been issued to employees as well as Yatries and necessary infrastructure for RFID scanning and data sharing is in place.
Dr Singla laid stress on ensuring hygienic langar preparation and inspected the arrangements in this regard.
