IGNOU starts July-2022 session admission process
Srinagar: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the admission process for its various academic programs for the July 2022 admission session.
With the commencement of the July admission session, this year IGNOU has added more courses to the list for the students, a statement issued by the university said.
These courses include MSC Environmental Science, Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication (MAJMC), MSC in Information Security, Masters in Urdu and various Under Graduate (UG) honours programs in several academic disciplines.
The university has also got approval from UGC and AICTE for four new MBA programmes which include MBA Human Resource Management, MBA Marketing Management, MBA Finance Management and MBA Operations Management.
Notably, IGNOU has already been running MBA in Banking and Finance, MBA (General) in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode and MBA (General) in online mode.
The University statement reads that there is no need to appear in the entrance test for seeking admission in any of the seven MBA programmes.
The statement said the revised programme of Masters of Computer Applications (MCA) has been launched with the approval from UGC and AICTE for a two year duration.
The eligibility for the programme has also been relaxed in terms of having Mathematics as one of the subjects at UG level and there is also no need to appear in any entrance test to take admission in this programme.
Last date for the submission of admission application forms is 31st July, 2022, University said.
