Srinagar: Authorities Thursday launched a rescue operation after an 18-year-old boy drowned in river Chenab in Akhnoor area of Jammu district.
An official said that Ankush Sharma, Resident of Gayanti Gorti Akhnoor drowned in River Chenab, near old Bridge Akhnoor this afternoon. Following the incident, SDRF and Police launched a search and rescue operation at the site. (GNS)
