Poem : Buried stars
M H Khan
Trees loaded with blushing blossoms
Holding our hearts tight
When they had gone out of sight
Wading muddled memories
They were loving and caring
In need of the needy they were glaring
Buried within our hearts
Like a long lost friend
Very simple getup
With candor their trend
Simple stomach to digest
Stout limbs to walk
And honest tongue to talk
Will never lose value
How deep buried they are
For all times goody good jar
Caring, sharing person inside
A kind word and listening ear
Always dearest of the dear
They let happiness happen
Honest compliments with unconditional
Love always with hand in glove
Temples, Mosques existed together
Oh! What a mode of genuine empathy
Churches, Gurdawars breathed forever
No crime, never behind the bars
Always on foot never on cars
May God absolve you O, buried stars
