Celebration of Gram Swaraj Month programmes held in Sgr
SRINAGAR: In connection with celebrations of Gram Swaraj Month, the Rural Development Department, through Block Development Officers (BDOs), Srinagar-Khanmoh, Mehnaz Chisti; BDO Harwan, Huma Nazir and BDO, Qamarwari, Asbah Arjamand Khan, has organized different programmes including awareness programmes in the district.
During these programmes, locals were sensitized about the welfare schemes launched by the Government for the development of people.
They also held Gram Sabhas and discussed a wide range of issues including the future development plans formulated for their respective blocks.
Panches, Panchayat Secretaries and the locals also participated in the programme.
Meanwhile, similar programmes are scheduled to be held on this account during this month.
