Police arrests a notorious drug peddler
Srinagar: Police has arrested a notorious drug peddler in Budgam and recovered Psychotropic substance from his possession, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
A police party from PP Narbal at a checkpoint established at Check-e-Kawoosa intercepted a suspicious person identified as Mudasir Ahmad Mohand son of Abdul Rahim Mohand resident of Check Kawoosa.
During checking, officers were able to recover 33 Bottles of codeine phosphate and 390 tablets of banned drugs from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to police station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 17/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Magam and investigation has been taken up.
