Body of ‘mentally challenged’ woman recovered
Srinagar: Body of an elderly ‘mentally challenged’ woman was found in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening, police sources said.
They said that the body was spotted by some locals in Rajpora, following which a police team was informed who visited the site and took the body into its possession.
Identifying the deceased as Azi Begum, 65, wife of Ghulam Ahmad Dar, resident of Akhal Rajpora, the official said that the family had reported her missing on November 8, 2021.
The body was handed over to the family after conducting necessary medico-legal formalities, the official added. (GNS)
