In memory of a loved soul
By: Uzma Zargari, Umar Zargar
That twinkling star doesn’t twinkle anymore
The galaxies seem to mourn it from long
Once living in ecstasies of one another
Those lovely souls lost their love bond
Didn’t he know how much, to them he meant
He surely was their most beloved
A noble creation, full of kindness with a heart of gold
Words will exhaust but his exquisite personality will still remain untold
Head of the family, a sober one
An obedient son and a caring brother he was
For so many smiling, cheerful faces he was the noble cause
A great philanthropic spirit he possessed,
Taking care of every need, of every demand his dears were even to make still
Not just the relatives but even request of strangers he used to fulfill
Such was his kind character, affectionate behaviour full of love
He was just like an angel sent from the heavens above
Seeing a person no less than sage,
His alluring and pulchritudinous soul full of goodness and glory,
Even death fell in love with him and took him away at a young age,
Partying him from his loved ones so dreadly
A huge loss for them it is indeed, a big tragedy undoubtedly
But he is still alive in their hearts, for love doesn’t vanish easily
He still resides in their thoughts, in their sincere prayer
May the Lord provide them with beautiful patience?
For this immense grief to bear
After this grief, there is gonna come a relief in the next world certainly
Where life is immortal, full of bliss for eternity
Where that twinkling star will, once again glitter brilliantly
Filling the life of his kiths and kins with charming happiness joyfully.
May the Almighty increase his ranks and make Jannat-ul-Firdous his abode
May Allah gift him, for his every deed with best of the best reward?
