Encounter between militants, forces starts in Bandipora

Srinagar, Aug 2: A gunfight has started between militants and forces in north Kashmir’s Chanaji area of Bandipora, a police spokesman said.

“#Encounter has started at Chandaji area of #Bandipora. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” a police spokesman tweeted Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, the entire area has been put under cordon amid the raging gunfight.
