CISF personnel injured after colleague weapon goes off
Srinagar: A paramilitary CISF personnel was injured after his colleagues weapon went off while he was cleaning it at NHPC station at Uri in Baramulla district on Friday, officials said.
A police official said that constable Manjunath was cleaning his rifle when it went off accidentally and hit his colleague identified as Sandeep Dutta.
The injured was taken to district hospital Baramulla where his condition is stated to be normal. “The fire hit on his left hip after rebound from the wall,” the official added. (GNS)
