Two ‘misguided’ minors counseled, says police

Handed over to their parents in Baramulla

Srinagar: Police on Friday said that two misguided minors were handed over to their parents after being counselled by police in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a statement police said that during the course of interrogation of the two OGWs who were arrested on 11th of April by Police station Kreeri, it came to fore that the duo had motivated two minor boys of the area to join the militant ranks.
The spokesperson further said that accordingly, the boys were identified detained. The two minors were passionately counseled by senior officers of Baramulla Police as well as senior Army officers and were thereafter handed over to their parents.
The parents were advised to keep a close watch on the activities of their wards so that they do not fall prey to anti national elements, he added.
