GANDERBAL: The all important Srinagar-Leh highway was closed for traffic after fresh snowfall in Dras, MinaMarg, Sonamarg and Zojila, officials said Saturday.
They said that as a precautionary measure, the 434 km Srinagar-Leh highway was closed for traffic on Saturday after fresh snowfall in Dras, MinaMarg , Sonamarg and Zojila.
Sources said that Project Vijayak and Border Road Organization have started clearing snow from both sides of the highway.
