Police arrest drug peddler in Pulwama
Srinagar: Police in Pulwama arrested a drug peddler and recovered Psychotropic substance from his possession, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
He said that a police party during routine patrolling duty at Hanjan Balla, intercepted a suspicious individual identified a Javid Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, resident of Rajpora.
During his personal search, psychotropic substances (Petril (03½ strips), Anxit (01 strip), Tramadol (24½ strips), Pregabalin (06½ strips) and Rexcof (04 bottles) were recovered from his possession. The contraband Substance was seized on the spot and the accused was arrested. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 10/2026 has been registered at Police Station Rajpora and investigation has been initiated.
