Party says move aimed at strengthens people-centric political movement

Srinagar: In a significant political development reflecting the growing public trust in alternative and people-centric politics, veteran police officer SSP Tanveer Jeelani, known for his dynamic leadership, clean image, and unwavering commitment to national service, formally joined the Jammu and Kashmir Nationalist Peoples Front (JKNPF) today at the party headquarters, JN-9 Press Enclave, Partab Park, Srinagar.
The joining ceremony was held in the presence of JKNPF President Jasif Khan, Senior Vice President Basit Bashir Gagroo, Youth President Shiraz Ahmad Pandith, all constituency in-charges, and a large number of party workers and supporters.
Welcoming SSP Tanveer Jeelani, the party leadership stated that his decision to enter public life marks a shift from authority-driven governance to service-oriented, accountable politics.
They highlighted that his long career in policing reflects discipline, impartiality, and a deep understanding of the social, security, and developmental challenges faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

They emphasized that the party is emerging as a strong platform for those who believe in nation-building, peace, and dignity of the common citizen.

Party leaders asserted that the growing momentum clearly indicates that people are looking beyond traditional and dynastic politics toward a visionary, transparent, and socially responsible political alternative.
