BRO engages in snow clearance operations at Pahalgam, Mughal road
Srinagar: BRO actively engaged in snow clearance operations at the tourist destination of Pahalgam and along the Mughal Road to ensure smooth movement and safety of commuters and tourists, a statement issued by the organisation said.
“Despite heavy snowfall and challenging weather conditions, BRO is working round the clock with men and machinery to keep the vital routes open. Special emphasis is being laid on maintaining connectivity to Pahalgam, keeping in view the convenience of tourists and local residents,” the statement said.
The Mughal Road, which serves as an important alternate link between the Kashmir Valley and Jammu region, is also being prioritised for early restoration, subject to weather conditions, it added.
BRO has taken all necessary measures to ensure timely clearance of snow and safe passage for vehicles, the statement said.
