BJP spokesman, others call on Lt Guv
JAMMU: Gaurav Gupta, BJP Spokesperson called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, on Friday, an official spokesman said here.
Later, Mohammad Iqbal Ahangar, Chairman, OBC Welfare Association J&K UT and former President, Municipal Committee Dooru-Verinag also called on Lieutenant Governor.
Harpreet Singh, Chairman, Jammu Sanskriti School also met Sinha and briefed him on the school’s upcoming exhibition on Sustainable Development Goals.
He was accompanied by Rohini Aima, Principal and Vice Chairperson; Meena Kumari and Pooja Wazir, Co-ordinators of the school, the spokesman added.
Later, a delegation of J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu led by its President Advocate K. Nirmal Kotwal also called on Lieutenant Governor.
The members of delegation put-forth the issues pertaining to the Jammu & Kashmir Tenancy Act 2025, shifting of traffic courts, establishment of Lawyers Colony at Jammu, and various other welfare issues of the legal fraternity.
