Pulwama youth dies of electrocution
Pulwama: A 23-year-old youth died of electrocution while working on a high-density plantation project in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, officials said.
An official said that the youth sustained a severe electric shock during installation work at Trich village of Kakapora area in Pulwama on Monday.
He said the youth was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
He was later identified as Uzair Gulzar (23), son of Gulzar Ahmad, a resident of Trich Pulwama.
Meanwhile, Police have taken up investigations into the incident. (KNO)
