Male dead body retrieved from river Jhelum
Srinagar, Oct 26: Dead body of a 45-year-old man was retrieved on Sunday from the River Jhelum, officials said.
Officials said that a man who allegedly had jumped into river Jehlum at Zaina Kadal on 20th October was retrieved today by a joint team or SDRF QRT Jehlum, River police and local police.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Rafeeq Ahangar (45) son of Mohammad Jamal Ahangar resident of Dalal Mohalla Zaina Kadal Srinagar.
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
