Police shift family after cracks developed around bund in Awantipora
Srinagar: A police team in Awantipora along with civil administration, safely shifted a family residing near the bund constructed on the canal which developed cracks at Katipora Chersoo, due to rising floodwaters, a police spokesman said Saturday.
The family has been shifted to the safer place. The timely intervention averted probable untoward incident and ensured the safety of the affected family.
Police assured the community of full support and urged people to remain cautious.
