CRPF Srinagar Sector Inter Ops Bn Tennis Championship-2025 concludes
Srinagar: In a thrilling tie break, doubles pair of Jaya Kumar and Narendra Kundu won the open doubles event by eclipsing Vikrant Singh and Rakesh Raman at GC Srinagar Clay Courts.
The tournament commenced from 24 July 2025 to 27 July 2025.
In the Open Singles category, Vikrant Singh beat Rakesh Raman by 7-3, while as in the Open Veteran singles, Jaya Kumar beat Prem Singh by 7 points to three
In the Veteran doubles category Jaya Kumar and Rakesh Kumar beat Prem Singh and K.K Bhandari by 7-1.
In the Open doubles category Jaya Kumar and Narendra Kundu beat Vikrant Singh and Rakesh Raman by 8-6 tiebreak.
Vivek Bhandral DIG GC SNR distributed prizes.
While addressing the players, he remarked that players must keep playing until they get it right.
Earlier, R. Jaya Kumar, Commandant 43 BN, CRPF welcomed the gathering and the event was attended by senior officers of Srinagar Sector.
