North Kashmir Education Fest organised at Sopore
Sopore: The North Kashmir Education Fest 2025, themed *Taleem Se Taraqee*, a mega educational extravaganza dedicated to shaping the future of the Valley’s youth through transformative learning opportunities was organized by the Indian Army in collaboration with the District Administration of Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipora on Saturday, here at Subhan Sports Stadium Sopore.
This first of its kind festival emerged as a dynamic and vibrant platform connecting aspiring students with prestigious educational institutions from across the nation.
Over 3,000 spirited students eagerly explored an extensive spectrum of academic disciplines-science, business, engineering, humanities, arts and social sciences-while receiving insightful, aptitude-based career counselling. Adding to its monumental impact, scholarships worth ₹3 crore were generously announced to empower meritorious students from economically weaker and tribal backgrounds.
The event also featured the enlightening *Know Your Army* campaign, offering firsthand awareness of rewarding career opportunities in the Armed Forces. This landmark initiative symbolized hope, progress and unity, strengthening Army-civil ties and paving the way for a self-reliant, empowered and peaceful ‘Naya Kashmir’.
This day-long event was witnessed in full enthusiasm with huge student participation across from the three north Kashmir districts Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara.
