Police arrests Drug Peddler in Baramulla
Srinagar: Police in Baramulla arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman said Monday.
He said that a police party at a checkpoint established at Chachloora, Kunzer arrested a drug peddler identified as Mohammad Yousuf Ganie son of Abdul Rahim Ganie resident of Sodipora Beerwah. During search, 131 grams of Charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 61/2025 under NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kunzer and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
