Police launch destruction drive against wild cannabis
Srinagar: Police in south Kashmir’s Pampore area continued its special drive for destruction of wild cannabis, a police spokesman said Friday.
He said that a police party alongwith officials of Excise Department under the supervision of SDPO Pampore launched a special drive against wild cannabis and destroyed on vast area (approximately 10 kanals).
General public of the area have appreciated the action and have urged the authorities to continue this drive in nearby areas also, the spokesman added.
