Two teenagers killed in road mishap at Poonch
Jammu, May 31: Two teenagers were killed after their scooty met with an accident at Chandak area of Poonch district on Saturday, officials said.
They said that a scooty bearing registration number JK12A-2495 collided with a bus bearing registration number JK12-7207 at Chandak place.
The scooty rider and his pillion mate were killed during the mishap, the officials said. The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Bilal(17) son of Jamal Din resident of Sabzain and Zahir Iqbal(18) son of Late Mohammad Javid.
Confirming the incident, the CMO Poonch Dr P A Khan said that they received two individuals at DH Poonch in an injured condition and both of them were declared as brought dead.
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
