Police arrests two drug peddlers in Sopore
Srinagar: Police arrested two drug peddlers in Sopore and recovered contraband substances from their possession, a police spokesman said Saturday.
He said that a ppolice team intercepted a vehicle (Load Carrier) bearing registration number JK05M-9529 at Vijbal crossing with two persons on board. During search, 203 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from their possession. The accused has been identified as Mohsin Manzoor Soliha and a lady (name withheld), both residents of Arampora Baramulla.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 66/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
