576 passengers airlifted to Ladakh

Kargil: As many as 576 passengers were airlifted Tuesday in Indian Air Force Planes.
The IL-76 airlifted 455 passengers from Srinagar and Jammu to Leh in two sorties.  AN-32 Kargil Courier airlifted 71 passengers, which includes 53 passengers from Srinagar to Kargil and 18 passengers from Kargil to Srinagar, an official said.
The passengers who availed the service, expressed their gratitude to CEC LAHDC Kargil, Member of Parliament Ladakh, Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Ministry of Defence, Airports Authority of India, Indian Air Force, Air India, AIASL, CISF, CRPF, Ladakh Police and other agencies associated, including the Chief Coordinator, Liaison Officers, Deputy Coordinator, Assistant Coordinators, Assistant Liaison Officers, and staff of Deputy Commissioner Kargil, the official added.
