Gunfight breaks out in Handwara north Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 17: A fierce gunfight broke out between terrorists and security forces in Krumbhoora area of Zachaldara in North Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Zachaldara.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about exchange of firing between terrorists and security forces. (GNS)
