Lt Guv, CM and Dy CM extent greeting on Holi
JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Dy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary have extended his heartiest greetings to the people on the occasion of Holi which will be celebrated on March 14.
In a message, the Lieutenant Governor said: “On the auspicious occasion of Holi, I extend my hearty greetings and good wishes to all.
Holi, the festival of colours, is the harbinger of joy, hope and fulfilment in our lives. The celebration on this joyful occasion with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm marks the arrival of spring and all the colours reflect our rich diversity and vibrant culture.
May this sacred festival of colours bring joy and happiness in the society and usher in new hope for a brighter future of all”.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous occasion of Holi.
In his felicitation message, the Chief Minister said that Holi symbolizes happiness, joy and togetherness.
He expressed hope that the festival would bring harmony and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among the people.
“The colours of Holi represent the vibrancy of life and the spirit of unity. May this festival fill everyone’s lives with happiness, prosperity and cheer,” the Chief Minister said.
He also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and wished that the occasion would bring new hope and joy to all.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, also extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Holi.
While emphasizing that the festival of colours symbolizes love, joy and harmony, he expressed optimism that Holi would bring happiness and prosperity into the lives of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Deputy Chief Minister also hoped that people will celebrate the festival with enthusiasm while fostering unity and brotherhood among all communities.
