Police arrests drug peddler in Anantnag
Srinagar: Police in Anantnag arrested a drug peddler and recovered a significant quantity of contraband from his possession, a police spokesman said Saturday.
He said that a police team at a checkpoint established at Srihama Hospital Crossing, apprehended a drug peddler identified as Altaf Ahmad Dar @Ali Commando son of Asadullah Dar resident of Sirhama and recovered 1.2 Kg of Cannabis Powder from his possession.
A case vide FIR No. 14/2025 has been registered under relevant sections and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
