Police recovers around 3 Cr cash from a car in Lakhanpur, persons boarding the vehicle held
Jammu, Feb 18: Around three crore cash was recovered from a car in Lakhanpur area of Jammu division on Tuesday, police said.
An official said that a police party laid a naka at Despatch point Lakhanpur near Statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh and intercepted one car bearing regd. No. HR98J- 9889 for checking.
He said that during checking, approx. 2.5- 03 crore rupees were recovered from the car.
Later they arrested all the persons in the car and brought them to PS Lakhanpur for further proceeding, he said.
Investigation in this regard has been taken up, the official added. (JKNS)
