Gurez-Bandipora road closed for the traffic after fresh snowfall
Srinagar, Feb 1: Due to the fresh snowfall, the Gurez-Bandipora road has been closed again for traffic, officials said Saturday.
They said that the higher reaches of Gurez including Razdan Top, Dawar Gurez, and Tulail, have received fresh snowfall of around 8- 11 inches of fresh snow accumulation following which traffic on the road seems impossible.
They said that currently snowfall is going on in the area and the road has been closed as a precautionary measure.
The officials said that once snowfall stops, efforts will be made to clear the road for vehicular movement.
