Professional ATV Association Tangmarg elects President, Gen Secy
Srinagar: Professional ATV Association Tangmarg on Saturday elected its office bearers with Mohammad Subhan Mir @Lala nominated as President and Abid Shabir lone nominated as General Secretary of the Associations, a statement issued by the organisation said.
The elections were held at in presence of Naib Tehsildar Tangmarg Farooq Ahmad and presidents of all Trade Associations.
Muhammad Subhan Mir was nominated president of the Professional ATV Association Tangmag third time in a row due to the good work he has done over the years, the statement said.
Later talking to media men Mir said that his prime aim is to enhance tourism activity in Gulmarg.
“Tourism is the backbone of this entire region and tourists need to be provided all the care and respect so that their trip to the place becomes a memorable one,” he said.
He said that his efforts will be to provide all the necessary support and help to the association members so that they can earn their livelihood and also serve the tourists with humility.
