Dead body of a missing man found in Doda
Srinagar, Jan 18: The dead body of a missing person was recovered near the village of Kalamal, Doda, under suspicious circumstances, officials said here.
An official said that the body of the missing man was found near the village of Kalamal in Doda. He said the man was later identified as Mohammad Ishaq, son of Ghulam Hussain, a resident of Gandow in Tehsil Chilly Pingal, Doda.
He stated that the individual had been reported missing, with a formal complaint filed, and following the recovery of the body, authorities have initiated inquest proceedings.
He added that the deceased’s body has been transported to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Gandoh for a post mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
Further investigation into the case is underway, officials added. (JKNS)
