Police books notorious drug peddler under PIT-NDPS Act
Srinagar: Police in Sopore booked a notorious drug peddler under PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority, a police spokesman said Saturday.
He said that the notorious drug peddler identified as Muzafar Ahmad Marazi son of Mohammad Akbar Marazi resident of Sofi Hamam Sopore have been booked under PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority. He has been taken into custody and is now being held in the District Jail Udhampur.
Pertinently, many cases are registered against the said drug peddler and he was still involved in drug peddling by supplying drugs to the local youth of the Police District Sopore.
