Driver killed, another injured as truck roll down in deep gorge in Anantnag
Srinagar, Dec 12: A truck driver was killed while as its conductor was injured after the vehicle fell into deep gorge at Margan top area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said that a truck carrying bricks from Anantnag to Warwan lost its control at Margan top and fell into deep gorge.
Soon a team of police and locals rushed to the spot to rescue the driver and conductor. Both where shifted to a nearby hospital, however the driver of the truck was already declared brought dead, whereas the conductor is being treated at the hospital.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up. (GNS)
