Mehbooba seeks NC’s clarification after Kharge’s remarks on Article 370
SRINAGAR, Nov 16 (PTI): People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti Saturday sought a clarification from Jammu and Kashmir government after Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s remarks that his party never talked about restoration of Article 370.
Mehbooba was reacting to Kharge’s remarks on the return of Article 370 during a press conference in Pune on Thursday.
“This government has been given a huge mandate by the people. They have reposed huge faith in it. (Article) 370 is an emotional issue for the people of J-K, and people’s sentiments are connected to it,” Mufti told reporters in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
