YHAI to initiate cultural exchange programmes during winter
Srinagar: A meeting of Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI), Srinagar Unit was held here on Wednesday under the chair of its Chairman Showkat Ashaie.
The meeting discussed the activities and programmes organized in Kashmir Valley during current year and the future programmes of the Association, a statement issued by the organisation said.
It was decided that with the onset of winter in Kashmir, the Association will focus on the activities to be held in Jammu division. For this purpose, a team of the Association, headed by Chairman Showkat Ashaie, will proceed to Jammu to organize the programmes in coordination with the Jammu based Members of the Association, the statement added.
The Association will also organize cultural exchange programmes by way of taking the students of Kashmir to other parts of the country during winter, it added.
