Two terrorists killed in ongoing Sopore encounter
Srinagar, Nov 8: Two unidentified terrorists have been killed in the ongoing encounter in Sagipora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
A police official said that following credible inputs about presence of terrorists in Panipura, Sagipora, a joint operation by was launched.
He said that as forces zeroed in the suspected spot, exchange of fire took place between the hiding terrorists and the forces, leading to a fierce encounter.
In the ensuing operation, tow terrorists have been killed, while operation is ongoing, he said.
This is the third encounter in north Kashmir in the last few days. (KNO)
