Forces launch search operation in Bandipora forest area
Srinagar, Nov 2: Security forces on Friday evening cordoned off Panar village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora area following reports of terrorists being present in the area.
“Suspicious movement was spotted, in general area Panar of Bandipora, by alert troops. On being challenged, terrorists opened indiscriminate fire and escaped into the jungle. Search Operation underway,” Chinar Corps said in a tweet.
The area is still under cordon and search operation is still going on.
