BRO launches Cleanliness Drive at Tourist destinations in south Kashmir

Verinag: As part of Nation Wide Campaign promoting Cleanliness and Sanitation, the Border Road Organization Monday launched a series of Cleanliness Programmes targeting the Tourist Destinations of South Kashmir.
760 Task Force of Project Beacon organized a cleaning drive to promote environmental conservation in and around various Tourist destinations including Verinag and Pahalgam, a statement issued by the organisation said.
The drive was launched in presence of Commander 760 Brtf Amiya Shrivastava. During the drive, the Commander highlighted the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and said that the Cleaning drive is a small gesture for a bigger cause of protecting our environment from polythene and other harmful waste materials.
He emphasized upon the people to come forward and become part of the ongoing drive and contribute to the well-being of environment.
