One dies another injured after under-construction structure collapses in Sopore
Srinagar: A man was killed, and another injured after a slab of an under-construction building collapsed in Model Town Sopore area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Reports said that a slab of an under-construction building collapsed near Baba motors in Model Town, Sopore, resulting in one person’s death while another sustained serious injuries.
Both were taken to SDH Sopore where one among them was declared brought dead by the doctors while the other person is ndergoing treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Aadil Ahmad Dar 22, son of Nazir Ahmad Dar of Nowpora Kalan Sopore, and the injured one as Javeed Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Subhan Dar of Nowpora Kalan Sopore.
According to reports the duo are construction workers and were doing some work near the under construction building, when the incident took place.
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation has been taken up.
