Assembly Elections-2024: ADC Kulgam chairs meeting of Media persons & Cable operators
KULGAM: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Viqar Ahmed Giri presided over a meeting with media persons and cable operators of the district at mini-secretariat, here aimed at ensuring a transparent and impartial Assembly Elections, 2024 in the district.
During the session, ADC highlighted the crucial role of the media in maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.
He emphasized the need for objective reporting and urged media outlets to deliver balanced and accurate coverage throughout the election period.
Additionally, he stressed the concerned to run only political advertisements that have been certified by MCMC.
The meeting was attended by ACP/DIO, Nazia Hassan, media persons and cable operators.
