Startup Policy 2024-27: JKEDI hosts sensitization Workshop for Govt officials at Ganderbal
GANDERBAL: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) on Tuesday conducted a sensitization workshop under J&K Startup Policy 2024-27 for the officials of various Government departments of district Ganderbal at Vikalp Centre, here.
The workshop saw participation from officers and officials of various government departments.
The workshop, specifically designed for government departments, seeks to enhance understanding and implementation of startup friendly policies along with facilitating a conducive startup ecosystem in the region.
The workshop was aimed at enhancing government officials’ understanding of the J&K Startup Policy 2024-27 including the benefits under Startup JK and Startup India schemes. The officials were also sensitized on procurement of products and services from startups and organizing hackathons cum challenges to solve problems faced by the departments by seeking solutions from the startups.
The event featured a series of presentations and interactive sessions led by officials of JKEDI. The discussions focused on key aspects of the startup ecosystem including funding opportunities, regulatory frameworks and the role of government in fostering a supportive environment for startups.
The workshop was coordinated by Mohammad Rafiq Mir, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Ganderbal and Sheikh Nousheen, Assistant Faculty.
