Patnitop Encounter: Terrorist killed, 1 AK-47 Rifle recovered as operation continues
Jammu, Aug 14: An unidentified terrorist has been killed in the ongoing encounter at Akar Forests Of Patnitop in Doda district on Wednesday.
Taking on to micro-blogging platform X, White Knight Corps of army wrote, ” One #terrorist has been neutralised in the ongoing operation. One AK 47 has been recovered in addition to the M4 rifle.
Intermittent exchange of firing continues as the operations are ongoing.
Earlier, one captain Deepak lost his life during the tense firefight with terrorists.
The encounter erupted late evening on Tuesday in the Forests of Akar at Patnitop between terrorists and security forces. (GNS)
