Srinagar, Aug 05: A dead body of a man was recovered from river Jhelum near Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar on Monday, officials said.
He said that the man has been identified as Tariq Ahmad of Pampore, and his body has been sent to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police has taken cognisance of the incident and started investigations, the official added. (KNO)
