Centre issues guidelines on transporting organs for first time
NEW DELHI, Aug 4 (PTI): The Union Health Ministry for the first time has come out with SOPs for transporting organs seamless transport of human organs through various modes of travel such as air, road, railways and waterways.
The Standard Operating Procedure issued by the government which will serve as a guiding document for those involved in organs transplants across the country.
“By streamlining organ transport process, we aim to maximise the utilisation of precious organs and offer hope to countless patients awaiting life-saving transplants.
