Youth dies after bike falls into Irrigation Canal in Lar Ganderbal
Ganderbal: A 25year old youth was killed and two others injured after the motorbike they were riding skidded off the road and fell into an Irrigation Canal at Watlar area of Center Kashmir’s Ganderbal District on Thursday evening..
Officials said the incident occurred late Thursday evening near maternity hospital watlar Ganderbal when a Pulsar bike bearing registration No JK05M-4769 skidded off the road and fell down into irrigation canal resulting injuries to three perons riding the bike.
They said that soon after receiving information about the incident a rescue operation was jointly launched by local Police, SDRF Army and locals which retrieved the body of the youth who had gone missing while as two others were brogh to a hospital in an injured condition.
Officials identified deceased youth as 25 year old Aadil Manzoor Shah son of Manzoor Shah a resident Nilla palpora Patten Baramulla.
The injured have been identified 20 year old Mufasil Reshi son of Mohammad Asadullah Reshie and 22year old Nasir Nabi Bhat son of Ghuulam Nabi Bhat both resident of Nilla palpora Patten
The duo were shifted to PHC Lar and later referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment, the official added.
