Police arrests drug peddler in Baramulla
Srinagar: Police arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered psychotropic substance from his possession, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
He said that a police party at a checkpoint established at Shrunz Crossing, intercepted a person identified as Sameer Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Hamid resident of Janbazpora Baramulla.
During search, 48 capsules of SpasmoProxyvon-Plus was recovered from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to PS Tangmarg where he remains in custody, the spokesman added.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Tangmarg and investigation has been initiated.
